In this Guardian piece I give a little taster of what I discuss in my book ‘Don’t Talk About Politics’, arguing that political beliefs rarely change through argument alone—instead, they’re shaped by relationships and lived experience. To build a better political culture, we need less debating and more investment in social infrastructure that fosters trust, connection, and the kinds of actions that transform belief.
It was wonderful to have this kind of platform to share my ideas, and it generated some heated discussion in the comments!
